These looks and work very well. The only issue I had was my door was just a little too thick, so needed to buy longer bolts.So very happy with this purchase! The hardware is extremely well made, heavy and sturdy- Instructions along with the video made installation fairly easy. Doors slide with ease and look amazing on our pool deck (see photo) Would highly recommend.Directions are terrible. No real clear instructions on how high to put the bar that holds the barn door. We had a hard time adjusting it.Hope this helps someone... I love this kit! The hardware is very well made and at this price you can’t touch another kit in comparison! With that said If I had this info before building my door I might had designed it a little differently. The factory bolt pattern in the rail comes 14” on center the typical studs in the Wall are 16” so in most applications you have to hang a ledger board behind the rail. It adds a ton of strength to the system and I like the look of the ledger personally so not a big deal at all. BUT like most people buying this kit I’m replacing the style of an existing door so the door frame is there at a standard 1/2” or so overhang. Well I constructed my door out of 1x10 molded panels with 1x4 pine boards, when connected has a total thickness of about 2”. Well the ledger board pushes the finish product away from the door frame about the same width of the ledger! Because I used this for a guest bathroom on our first floor a gap in the door is not something I can leave. Luckily I actually had some spacers on hand to set my door back where I needed it. Not a huge deal to me I still love how it turned out but this small flaw could be handed by the manufacturer changing the design a hair or me using something a little different to build my door. I definitely think the hardware would have no problem with more weight.. hope this helps someone.. God blessLooks great Functioning well. But, beware. There is no hardware for stabilization at bottom side of door so very "loose" (literally free-swinging" from the mounts when closed. Slightly better when opened (door now braced against wall), but I would NOT use this to close a doorway between rooms if I had children in the house. Or, in a doorway that frequently needed to be opened/closed. An,d certainly not in a doorway that needs to be "secured". Working great for my purpose (which is visual screening between two rooms).Manufacturer could have included a template for wall marking. Would of made install by one person a breeze.Third door I made and if I make another I’ll buy this product again. And so should you. You’ll be happy with itperfect
