Surprisingly the door was fairly easy to put together and adds a beautiful touch to my room. I want some different look with other old fashion barn door. So I am very thankful that I can find this amazing design. I would recommend this barn door to anyone who wants to accent any room. Trust me!This is not made of real wood. It is some type of composite that is very light which is good. However it is also very soft and fragile. In addition, the instructions are very poor .
